1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the CAE Cluster website and compute service available at aedtz.cfd. In this policy, “CAE Cluster,” “AEDTZ,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of that service.

2. Information we collect

• Google account data: Google account identifier, verified email address, display name, and profile image, when available.
• Job data: project names, selected products and compute profiles, notes, uploaded input files, generated result files, job status, timing, and solver usage.
• Commercial records: approved quotes, rates, billing duration, discounts, promo-code usage, and payment status when payment functionality is enabled.
• Technical data: security events, application and server logs, IP address, browser information, and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Google sign-in

We use Google OAuth only to authenticate users and create their CAE Cluster session. The requested scopes are openid, email, and profile. We do not request access to Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendars, or Google account passwords. Our use of information received from Google is limited to providing and securing sign-in.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• authenticate users and maintain secure sessions;
• accept, validate, queue, process, and return simulation jobs;
• provide status updates, support, quotes, billing records, and beta promotions;
• prevent abuse, investigate failures, and protect the service;
• comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Cookies

CAE Cluster uses essential, secure cookies for OAuth state validation and authenticated sessions. We do not use advertising cookies. Disabling essential cookies prevents sign-in.

6. Storage and retention

Uploaded input files and generated result files are retained for 30 days after a job is completed, failed, or cancelled, and are then scheduled for deletion. Incomplete uploads are removed earlier. Limited account, job, security, quote, and billing records may be retained longer when necessary for service operation, dispute handling, security, or legal compliance.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information or simulation files. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers, the assigned solver host, and personnel supporting the service, only as needed to provide it. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the service, or third parties.

8. Security

We use encrypted transport, access controls, isolated service components, and operational safeguards intended to protect stored information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid uploading data they are not authorized to process.

9. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. You may stop using Google sign-in and revoke the app’s access from your Google Account permissions at any time.
